"Visited Jimenez Tobacco during my visit to Newark and overall it was a good experience. I went in a Tuesday with friends so the place was dead. Which isn’t a bad thing because it felt more intimate. Like you had the whole place to yourself. I’m not a cigar expert by any means but I was disappointed in the selection of cigars. I kind of wanted more variety but the ones they had were not bad. They have a bar there so you can pair your cigar with the drink of your choice. Music was playing, mostly oldies. It’s a nice vibe if you’re with friends or with your partner. Now originally I was going to rate this place a 4/5 but I’d be remiss to tell you a little side note…Be careful of the bartender. She’ll try to get you or your friends to take shot after shot with her. You think you’re only paying for your shot but then she hits you with the “oh the owner won’t let me take the drinks off the bill” so I basically paid for all her shots too. I let it slide cause we were celebrating my friend. But just be careful."

"Very lay back atmosphere. Full bar, Nice Outdoor Patio. Very Clean. Came by there on a Monday early afternoon. Bar opens @ 3pm but the owner was able to give us neat or on the rock drinks. Very friendly staff. They basically only carry their own cigars , which were pretty good and a large selection. A hidden gem 💎"

"This is a very comfortable place. It has a cozy, home vibe. You will feel like you are relaxing in a warm living room. I do not smoke cigars yet still I enjoyed the ambiance and service. The patrons even collect your outerwear and when you are leaving they assist you by holding up your coat so you can easily place your arms in...an upscale vibe. Family owned business."
