"This place is beyond legit. It's basically a warehouse where they roast coffee and you have the opportunity to buy it there. They also make and serve coffee. I haven't even tried the beans, but I'm pretty confident they'll be great. Got a latte as well and was casually presented with the coolest, neatest seahorse I've ever seen. Just look at it. Wth. I saw some latte art awards. I'm in shock. I'd give 6 stars if I could."

"Red House Roasters is a true find in a rather gritty part of Newark on a small side street parallel with McCarter Highway. For years I thought it was a funky music studio until I actually stopped by. It’s a small beehive of coffee roasting, and you can walk in and shout Hey Richard and Richard , the co-founder and Newark native, will ask you about your coffee preferences and then steer you to the barrels of freshly roasted beans to let you smell and decide. The 12 oz bags generally range from $12-14."
