from Google"Our first time here, and we’ll definitely be back! The food was excellent with generous portions, and the service went above and beyond. The place is beautifully decorated. I especially loved the mural and the fun message boards throughout. It wasn’t loud, which made it perfect for great conversation during dinner. We also picked up some bakery items to go, and they were absolutely delicious. We came on a Saturday night as a group of six and didn’t have to wait long at all. Overall, a fantastic experience!"
"We stopped by for some warm soup. It was a cold day. The soup came in a large bowl. Comes with rice or tortillas. It was very hearty. Full of meat and good veggies. It was just what I was looking for. My dd enjoyed his chicken soup and fresh juice. The OJ was good too. The tacos were ok but this is not a Mexican restaurant. I think it was the sprinkled Parmesan cheese that threw it off. Our waiter was attentive and took very good care of us. The place is well decorated for night life. Likes of blue light paint. Very unique."
"This is a great restaurant for those who love Salvadorean food. They have great pupusa’s and other authentic meals. The service is great, especially Rosie who is very helpful. Always a great atmosphere."
"Excellent Salvadoran food. Awesome Baleadas, delicious pupusas, heartwarming soups full of flavor. Nice interior and exterior design with beautiful murals. We love eating here."
"I went to have dinner at Restaurante Salvadoreño Las Canastillas. I usually order the pupusa de chicharrón, but this time I had the steak with white rice, which was cooked well-done and very tasty. My boyfriend ordered the breaded chicken with white rice and beans, and he enjoyed his meal too. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere that makes it a great place for a date it’s not too loud, and there’s a lot of fun, colorful art on the walls that adds to the experience."
