"I went to a wedding and Freshchef Ameer was the caterer for the event. I would not have come on and wrote a review but they had the nerve to post a video with some parts of the wedding and other food videos. There was literally no food. They ran out of water. Ameer sat with the bride who is vegan had reassured her that all his food was fresh and hand made. I will post a picture of the red Barron pizza that was served to approximately 24 people out of the 150+ guests. There was a wegmans hummus container on the table with no crackers or bread. The bride had a specialty cake made and sheet cakes othat were never served. When Freshchef posted the video on Instagram I commented, he deleted the post and blocked me. I am now going to let everyone who is thinking of using this scam artist think twice. The bride looked beautiful and the Dj was amazing. I am posting the brides cake that was not served."

"I was a guest at a wedding a couple of weeks ago. When I tell you this caterer ruined the most magical day for the bride and the groom. No one should even have to worry about the caterer they choose to run out of food and drinks . They left this couple embarrassed and ruined a day that they can never get back. I don’t know if this company is legit, if they lied saying they have done weddings and never have but they are TERRIBLE! They served red baron microwaveable pizza at a WEDDING! Frozen French fries and oven baked chicken tenders just to name a few. They used Costco mini hot dogs and crab cakes which are good but not there’s and considered this their catering food. I had a child with me and I asked for milk for his bottle . I was told from one of chef Ameer employees to go to 7 eleven a few blocks away for my sons milk. Could you even imagine this? If you want a wedding where you can have fun and not have to worry . And you want a wedding that is worry free that you as a bride and groom can enjoy stay very far from this caterer . I m thinking maybe they are a scam company . Be on the lookout !! I think whoever is leaving any type of Good review must be a staff member or friend of the owner. Please be aware of this place to save yourself from losing a ton of money and disappointment!"

"Future brides beware! My wife and I attended a wedding about a month ago . I don’t know where to start but the food and service was horrendous. Food was scare and not fresh. The bride as you can imagine was in tears and couldn’t believe that the food she had sampled at the tasting event was not the same food for her wedding. my understanding is that Fresh Chef has has been avoiding the bride and groom, not taking responsibility for him and his staffs obligations. . My advice to future brides and grooms, even though there is a contract , make sure the place is reputable and deliver what is promised."

The food, however, was the true star of the show. Each dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented, and tasted as divine as it looked Fresh Chef surpassed all our expectations, delivering an unforgettable evening of culinary delight. "Fresh Chef was the caterer for a wedding I attended. Despite the name, there were empty containers of store bought dips left on the table as people were entering the room for cocktail hour. During the cocktail hour the staff didn’t know what items were vegan and what were not. We were assured the carb cakes were vegan when in fact the ones we received weren’t. We found out bc the second passing we could taste and see the difference. As someone who doesn’t follow a strict plant based diet I brushed this off, but when I found out that the VEGAN bride was given crab I was outraged! Either the staff was told it was all vegan which is a lie or they weren’t properly informed & aware what was and wasn’t vegan, which is still terrible and unprofessional. There was supposed to be more items passed around that never made it out of the kitchen or weren’t enough of ie. egg rolls, grilled cheese, tomato soup. Things only seemed to have gotten worse from there. The dinner was to be done in a buffet setting and that was a disaster! Not only was it served late but they ran out of food! It’s like they didn’t prepare themselves to feed everyone. They didn’t cook on time or the correct amount to feed people. There were empty trays that didn’t get restocked for over an hour later causing people to not eat. The bride never got to eat dinner because everything she was supposed to eat was tainted by an allergy she had or it simply wasn’t vegan. The chef was well aware of the brides allergies. The whole wedding timeline was thrown off due to the food delays. It was so bad the couple never got to do their cake cutting, which was a supposed to be a special part of their day. Around 10 to 11 PM the passed food options that should have been hors d’oeuvres reappeared. As a result of all the food not being served to the guests, the bride and groom went home with trays full of food. I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t hire a caterer who lies about being able to handle the size of my wedding and then not providing the diet I requested, the timing and general readiness. Do better!"
