"I've been coming here for an iced strawberry matcha frequently for the past 2 months. Discovering Ooika has been such a blessing. All the baristas and employees truly make the effort to make guests feel welcome and appreciated. The matcha is always consistent and delicious. Not only do I love it here, but I have also shared the joy of Ooika's matcha and hojicha with my coworkers, friends, and family, who are all obsessed as well. The onigiri here is also delicious. "If you are a matcha connoisseur I highly recommend visiting Ooika! You feel immediately welcome upon entering. The staff is lovely. Their matcha quality is excellent. It’s so cool to see the matcha mills inside, you can smell how fresh the matcha is. I don’t even feel the need to add sweetener, which they do offer at the front after you get your drink. Also something to note—they only offer oat milk. I’ve tried most drinks on the menu and I always love them all, it’s hard to decide a favorite. If you’re hungry, they do offer onigiri and some matcha desserts, I recommend the matcha cookie. I will add that sometimes the place gets super busy but I think it just adds to the vibe. Overall, always a lovely experience at Ooika."

"Ooika is by far the best matcha I've had in New Jersey! It's so smooth that you can get the classic matcha with no sweetener and it's delicious. My personal favorite on the permanent menu is the strawberry matcha. The hojicha is really yummy and nutty as well. I love that they do a specialty flavor every month! For food, the spicy tuna & tamago (maitinated egg) onigiri are my favorites. The miso soup is sooo hearty I find myself craving it and picked radishes are also fantastic.
