"Reviews Minetta Lane Theatre offers a variety of performances - from 1-person shows / autobiographies to an array of comedy and tenderness, and as with Mexodus, a musical, so on fire and poignant that no one sat still in their seats! When the lights went down, we stood up and applauded and hollered like we had throughout the play. The actors were so riveting, we couldn’t think of anything else save their heartbreak, story telling, and musicianship! And the theatre staff are extremely kind and engaging. Forge is one of my favorite places. The environment is serene, and the welcome from owner, Alex, is always warm and inviting. I regularly visit, and have brought family and friends, who have thanked me for the introduction. Forge is a place that I couldn’t imagine curating myself, however, I’m happy someone did. It’s gorgeous, and I always find the perfect gifts, and quite often, one for myself! There’s a small selection of books, beautiful journals, quirky cards, and an array of unique jewelry at various price points. There are soaps, hand towels, prints, vintage clothing, and more. It’s a wonderland full of presents, and it’s also full of presence. Your loved ones will be fortunate to receive a gift from Forge, and you’ll enjoy every moment."
