What People Are Saying
from Google"Great variety! Menu is amazing. Service goes above and beyond to remember you and your preferences. New decorations are Greco-Mod, which created a beautiful setting for a white Christmas tree. The only downside was the hard rock music. It's just not the relaxing atmosphere that I associate with a coffee shop. Get me a piano!"
"This place did not disappoint! I got an iced The Drip Latte, a cinnamon roll, and the breakfast burrito. Everything was delicious! The staff was so friendly and the environment was cozy and clean! Perfect place to go to unwind or do some studying! Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning."
"Ok...a hobby of mine is to visit coffee shops all over, and visiting the Drip was a real treat. First off, the view is fantastic!!! It sits up on a level piece of land and the views of White Sands and the city is wonderful....but let's get to THE MAIN THING....what 'the Drip' is named after:: the coffee! I tried 2 different lattes and the freshly brewed single origin Ethiopian coffee over a few days while being in Alamogordo.....the coffee was locally roasted to perfection, brewed with precision, and created with skill. My lattes were fantastic (oat milk lavender, and the signature Drip: caramel macchiato w/oat milk) and created well:: just the right amount of flavoring and ratios of all ingredients. The Ethiopian speaks for itself and it does tastefully. FRESH cookies baked daily inhouse as well as a cinnamon roll that is bigger than your fist (again baked in house ...not a Sam's club bought and resold item). They offer a variety of bistro style lunches, paninis, and sandwiches all prepared in the kitchen onsite!!! The owners are great and have a huge vision for this local establishment. Inside there are various seating arrangements from nice leather-style high back chairs to a tech bar running along the back wall. There is seating outside as well. I saw different groups enjoying coffee and baked goods while I was there....they either used the long dining room type table or they just grabbed a few of the round tops and scooted them together & the management encouraged that. While visiting I saw people working on laptops, sitting in a chair by the window reading a book, people playing chess and cards, and hearing wonderful laughter and conversations as people gathered in community. This establishment just opened and it's already a jewel for this community and city. Stop by and try their fresh roasted coffee!! You won't regret it."
"I had a black coffee and blueberry scone and my spouse had sweet tea and a turkey club. Coffee was perfect, a rich blend, and the scone was superb, soft and slightly moist with plenty of fresh blueberries. My spouse loved his sweet tea and his sandwich. We live in Ruidoso Downs and I’d stop here again when in Alamogordo."
"Every time I have gone, I’ve been met with respect and joy! I absolutely enjoy it there. Their coffees and chais are made exactly how I want it! And the homemade cinnamon roll is to die for😫I really recommend it! Plus there’s lots of seating inside and they play Christian music too. Which brings a lot of peace to me!"
