"I really love cornerstone! Their food is amazing and for the most part the staff are very sweet. When ordering online though, it’s never consistent. Sometimes it takes me to their online platform and sometimes it takes me to DoorDash. Today it was DoorDash and when placing the order it did not give me the option to add extras (syrup, cream) in my tea. I just added it to the special requests. Not expecting anything free and fully prepared to pay for it. When I picked up the order nothing was mentioned and I was told I had paid online already. When I looked at my receipt there was a, not very nice, note telling me to charge myself next time. That those items weren’t free. I feel like it would have been more professional to just let me know when I arrived that those items weren’t charged. I would have quickly apologized and paid. After reading the note I went up and paid for my extras, but it made me feel pretty bad as a customer. Wish it would have been handled better."

"Incredibly poor customer service, especially from the owner. I’ve come in many times and while their prices are higher than they ought to be I’ve continued to drop in. Today the owner lost her cool, slapped her hands on the counter, and tore into me because I complain about their prices. They’re high. And they charge extra for credit/debit cards. For the owner to lose her cool and come across the way she did was woefully inappropriate. Had I done that when I worked in retail I would have been reprimanded if not had my employment terminated. I guess it pays to be a small business owner to cast aside paying customers so easily. Must be nice. I politely left and won’t be returning."
