What People Are Saying
from Google"Neat little place with a gluten-free store and coffee shop. Aptly, the whole place has a rustic feel, and the coffee shop area even has a fireplace with armchairs. The market has locally made crafts like jewelry, candles, and jam, a small selection of fresh produce and meat, gluten-free pantry items (not a huge selection, but more interesting options for pasta and cereals than you can find in a mid-sized grocery store), spices/tea in bulk, and locally roasted coffee beans. For the size of the store, they really have a good variety and strike a good balance of basic groceries vs gourmet items. The coffee shop has the standard coffee and tea drinks with some seasonal specialty drinks plus a moderate assortment of baked goods. I tried the blueberry muffin, lemon lavender scone, and a matcha latte from the coffee shop. The baked goods were great. Both had great texture (none of the dryness that cheap GF baked goods often suffer from) and nice flavours. The scone was closer to the dessert side of the baked good spectrum (sweet and almost a shortbread cookie texture), but the muffin was less sweet and wholesome-tasting. My matcha latte was pretty good, easily the best matcha I've had in the Binghamton area. I was with my mom, who got a black tea, and while I didn't actually have any of her tea, I know and like the tea company that they use. The vibe was friendly and welcoming. I'd like to come back here next time I'm in the area!"
"One of my favorite spots in Binghamton. I stop in weekly! I love that they have a rotating menu for their baked goods and seasonal drinks. This place will be a lifesaver for you if you are gluten free/dairy free."
"Very good European style macchiato in a real cup. And the apple Kringle coffee cake is a winner as well. Looking for a place with cozy good vibes and excellent coffee in Binghamton? Look no further!"
"very kind staff and extensive selection of gluten free goodness :) I had a rose cardamom iced matcha and it was delightful. They also had some (locally produced?) yogurts in the refrigerator section that were so rich!"
"I come here every single day because there is no better place to get work done and relax. Everyone who works here is fantastic — Jen, Bri, Nate, Karen, and all the others are lovely and warm. As someone who's gluten-free and dairy-free, I am surprised every time at how creative and delicious the baked goods are (shout out to Karen the baker). They have desserts I've never seen made gluten-free in my 15+ years with the allergy, plus a ton of specialty gluten-free products in the shop part of the business. The coffee is great, vibes are immaculate, and they are dog friendly!"
