What People Are Saying

"Loved this cafe during my recent NYC visit. I live overseas now but lived in the area over 10 years ago and visit regularly. So coming from someone who has seen the area change over the years, this place is a gem and one I would definitely come back to. Excellent tacos and baked goods with a range of options for all dietary requirements. Fav was the lemon lavender cake 🤤🤤🤤. Some patrons might think the staff is rude - other reviewers who seem to lack the knowledge of what it’s like to work in the restaurant industry. Yes - tip your barista/server. Pretty simple. I appreciate the progressive values of this establishment and I think that’s important when it comes to where you choose to spend your money. Wishing the owners all the very best! It’s lovely when you can see the heart and soul of a place ❤️❤️❤️."

"Beautiful establishment, beautiful staff, beautiful food. Love that they have vegan and GF options. Delicious yet safe food. I had a carrot ginger soup, the banana bread, and the almond croissant I believe it was. All absolutely delicious and artfully done. And I'm pretty critical about food. I appreciated that I can taste the skill, finesse, and layering of flavor. I loved being there and I don't usually like sitting down at places. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area, or I may even go out of my way to get there just to support this beautiful establishment. Will have to post pics next time, wasn't even thinking about that I only took pics of the artwork because it was intriguing, lol"

"Moved to Bed Stuy around the same time they opened. The owner Em and Cass are both so knowledgeable about coffee and food, and it shows through the consistency in both food and drink. The innovation is amazing, it feels like they have room to create. My favorite creation was the Coconut Cold Brew, refreshing and energizing. They make excellent vegan food, and it’s a comfortable and inclusive atmosphere. Shout out to Demetria too!"

"The drinks food and general vibe here are immaculate. My only regret is not getting more food from these amazing humans! Thank you for the amazing experience 🙏💞"

"The coffee is very well prepared and tasty. The staff is so sweet. However the food left more to be desired. I got a peanut butter banana toast and I asked how much PB will be on there? They said a pretty thick layer. Yet it was very thin, parts of the bread were exposed, banana didn’t cover the entire toast, not enough chia seeds at all, and to make it worse, too much honey. I’m so disappointed. I had to add my own peanut butter just to balance it out. It was not worth the money. (would have called the restaurant to let them know my concern however no way to contact, so writing it here)"
