"I went here with a pretty high expectations and boy I had it wrong! We ordered chicken salad and burger. Salad was dry, tasteless and only thing it had good was a look. Burger was a bit more better. I was too hungry to had a better judgement maybe but it was really not so bad. Drinks were also not on top. I asked my drink with less alcohol but it was still pretty strong. Waiter was nice. Place is designed nicely, meaning the interior. But tables are uncomfortably small. I left my birthday dinner pretty sad. Supposedly this place should’ve been a good place for a nice, calm, tasty dinner but… I guess the place is a bit overrated."

"Great French cuisine place in downtown Brooklyn a few blocks from the Hilton Brooklyn. Nice outdoor seating. Staff was very accommodating as had we a party of 6 and they pieced together seating outside for us. Food was terrific!"

"The worst-tasting food I’ve ever had. The fried calamari was by far the worst I’ve ever had—it was thick, greasy, and tasted more like cheap onion rings than calamari. The mussel pot was also not fresh. To make things worse, the Aperol Spritz came with the orange slice still having the supermarket sticker on it, which clearly means they never even washed their fruit. Overall, the food quality does not match the price at all. We were totally shocked, especially since they call themselves a French restaurant but the worst quality—honestly, I don’t think any French person would accept this level of food."

"We enjoyed much. The calamari appetizer was exceptional. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. Great intro as to what to come. Ordered salmon burger, chicken sandwhich & steak frites. All very good. Ate outside and enjoyed all the sights & sounds of neighborhood. Would come back!"

★★★★★

"They claim to use organic eggs. The yolk for different eggs have a different color, consistency and flavor. The eggs here look like regular eggs, cage raised, "cheaper" basic eggs. After seeing the color on the eggs I asked about it and the first person I asked seem to realize that I was asking for something they already knew... The second person seemed like they didn't know so I asked where are they from, can I see the cartoon? So they asked the chef. The answer that was brought back was yeah of course we just organic eggs. The photo is even slightly color enhanced by the phone. The depth of color doesn't convey the quality, but it's a clear indicator. They didn't have a clear answer. Most places that buy qualities items, the staff knows exactly where it's from."
