Anything you order here has been thought of from top to bottom to craft an all-around exceptional cofee flavors The ambiance is almost like an amphitheater: the performance is in your cup. For the coffee you can select from 10+ pourover options. And for espresso you can choose your own beans (a rarity, even among specialty coffee shops). Friendly and informative baristas here too. Warehouse for roasting is in the back! Now for the coffee: I got a 2025 roast of the year pourover: Peach Cobbler. Candied grapefruit notes, light to medium body, and black tea like color. Phenomenal. Full-stop. The flat white had the cardamom beans. Solid texture. I’d order a cortado here if you do espresso to best taste the notes of the beans. I’ll come back here for sure. Their coffee omakase offering at the bar looked a lot of fun (and educational). Ask questions, be curious, and learn about coffee here. A real gem! Drip coffee score: 4.75/5. "Despiye never physically being there, I absolutely love this coffee. I've been blessed with some amazing local coffee roasters in my life. I've unfortunately moved somewhere recently with no local roasters within an hour of me that I'm fond of. Thankfully driftaway participated in a national coffee tasting last year, of which I bought from several roasters to test out. Far away my favorite beans I've had have come from here, being their yellow geisha they recently sent out. The beans are always fresh, the website has a great listing of their options, the listed tasting notes are strikingly accurate and I always get a flavorful and rich cup out of my V60 from all of your light also love the cards they send out about the farms they sourced their beans and its pricing.
