"This review is about sustainability! I really appreciate that you offer real mugs, plates, and glassware to your customers. By 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. And over 95% of the plastic that we produce and consume, does not actually get recycled, but rather ends up in landfills, incinerators, and in our waterways. It means a lot to me as a customer to support businesses that are mindful of the fact that Brooklyn is a waterfront community. So I am grateful for the more sustainable option! I do wonder if it could be communicated a bit more clearly to those eating in house, perhaps by asking explicitly at the register if they will be staying for their beverage. Just a thought! "Recommended by a friend who had lived in the neighborhood for a while, and wow—it did not disappoint! First proper breakfast and coffee (at 2 p.m. lol) I've had around here, and I was blown away. The latte was the exact perfect temperature, with impeccable foam. I had the biscuits and gravy and, as a Southerner by birth, I say this plate could hold its own against anything down home. Love at first bite—it will be a challenge not to take up residency here every morning. 10/10!!!"
