"This post is about sustainability only! 😀 This café is one of my absolute favorite spots in the neighborhood, and is so cozy and inviting. But it surprises me that there are no in-house, sustainable, reusable options for coffee cups and water cups. In one visit, you can see so much plastic waste being created, and then just discarded into the trashcan to head to a landfill or incinerator. I know you have some dishwashing capabilities because you use those reusable metal trays, so I wonder if you might be able to start offering at least some reusable cups at the water station, and mugs for people who meet with friends for coffee or to work from your location? By 2050, the ocean will be filled with more plastic than fish, and I wish that local restaurants in this waterfront borough would help customers not contribute so much to the plastics crisis. Thank you for considering, and thank you for creating such a lovely space. Would be even more lovely without so much trash!"
