"Such a fun dining experience! We came on a Sunday night, so it was pretty quiet. Burger was amazing, one of the best burgers we ever had. The chopped cheese rice cakes were delicious and fun. The cucumber kimchi was the perfect refreshing bite and the general lee chicken was tasty. Since the chicken was dark meat, it was a little heavier than expected. Great time and we look forward to returning."

"This was my first time dining in a Nowon and I have to say that I walked away fairly impressed by their offerings. As this was my first time, I decided on the tasting menu, and as with all tasting menus some of the items were a hit and others were a miss. I throughly enjoyed their whipped ricotta toast and (not surprisingly) the burger. Overall I wasn’t blown away by the chopped cheese rice cakes or the skewers. Overall, I still had a great time, and I definitely see myself stopping back in for a meal in the future."

"I didn’t have an unpleasant experience. It was “ok” the food was good, not mind-altering. I did not expect so much cheese on everything. The music was quite loud, we found ourselves screaming over the music more than anything. Love the open kitchen idea. But it leaves you walking out the place smelling like charred goods. My server was pleasant, but I found it odd that I had to ask for eating utensils only to get two forks! I really couldn’t understand that part of the evening. However, I may be back, I can’t be too sure. They had a nice special allowing you to try a good amount of the menu. I didn’t get too much kimchi from the burger. The chopped cheese rice cakes and that whipped ricotta!!!…those were bussing. But my stomach paid for all that cheese the next day!"

"Yo… So this this one of those places where you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. You have the allergy? Take the L the day you come here and don’t be afraid to try something (unless it literally will kill you). The highlights at Nowon are the two burgers, but the tots go crazy. The chopped cheese rice cakes also are insane. What I’ve named are personal standouts but the burger is objectively out of this world. Bring friends when they come to town to visit. Go for a date. Go alone. You won’t regret it. The vibes here are fire as well with the music selection and lighting."
