"Super excited about Valkyrie's second location and it doesn't disappoint! The drinks are all solid, whether you want something more seasonal and flavored (like a coquito latte or gingerbread latte, yum!) or the essentials, Valkyrie has you covered. Same goes for the brunch - fun, unique flavors and creations that you wouldn't find anywhere else. Pictured is a Swedish gingerbread lava toast! Service is fast and food is reasonably priced as well. Staff are always friendly and welcoming, happy to give advice on what to get or which drinks pair well with brunch items :) Perfect place to sit and hang for a bit (vibes are cozy and relaxed) or grab a drink before heading into Sugar Loaf. "I can’t say enough good things about Valkyrie Brunch House and Dakota!!! Every cup of coffee and dish served is carefully crafted and executed with care and love! Dakota isn’t just the owner of a coffee shop, he is an artisan caring about every detail! And on top of that, he is friendly, kind and cares for his customers, because they are more than customers, they are family. The coffee is organic and the specialty coffees are always the most creative."

"We were so excited to check this place out, and it didn’t disappoint. It’s a really cute, clean space, and they did a great job with the setup. The drinks were excellent, no surprise there since we’re big fans of the Chester location. The food was outrageous—super fresh with tons of unique flavors you just don’t find anywhere else. Everything on the menu felt thoughtfully done and beautifully presented (though I’ll admit it looked so good I dove right in before getting a photo). Such a great addition to Sugar Loaf!"

"What an adorable addition to Sugar Loaf! Valkyrie roasts the best coffee in the Hudson valley and has so many fun coffee drinks in addition to making the classics perfectly. We never thought we would find a perfect flat white outside of NYC and they proved us wrong. "Wish I took more photos of the inside but I love the renovated train station interior, even the detail of keeping the original ticket booth, which is where you place your order now. There are also gorgeous views all around. Despite there being a big post-5K rush, our food and drinks were made in a timely manner and were all delicious! Highly recommend the poached pear french toast for an elevated classic! And the tosilog is good post-run savory fuel. :-) The Peruvian Cusco pourover was perfectly light and smooth. Not bitter, not sour!"
