"We came here for the first time and everything was delicious. We had the Hot Honey and grilled chicken pesto sandwiches. The service was great and the food came out remarkably quick given they were a bit busy. We will definitely be back!"

"I've been coming here since it first opened and the 'Underground' never disappoints. Are you hungry? The food is delicious and with a menu that continues to offer scrumptious weekly specials. Hankering for a cold beer? Many choices on tap and in cans. How about a hot cup o'joe? They brew Doghouse Coffee (roasted in Tarrytown) it and make it every way to Sunday. The vibe is hip and the staff friendly and welcoming. You can dine in or be served al fresco. Good for takeaway too! I'm a local guy and the icing on the cake is that this place has put out once sleepy hamlet of Highland on the map. If you need yet more proof, the business is so well run and with so many happy customers that they've opened satellite eateries in New Paltz and Ellenville. And I heard through the grapevine that a fourth location is about to open. Where, you ask? You'll have to wait to find out. I'm not spilling the coffee beans! Deserves five stars and more."

"We came during our day trip from Albany to Hyde Park. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone. We felt welcome with our one year old, there were other families there as well, in additional to young singles and pretty much everyone. I was impressed by the diversity of the crowd. Now, the food did. Not. Miss. I got the hot honey chicken sandwich, husband got a smash burger, in laws got roast beef and a blt. We all loved our meals. If we’re ever back up this way, we will be sure to stop by again."

The competent and friendly Staff sometimes have to hustle, hustle, hustle because it can get very busy on occasion and there may be only one or two front end employees on staff trying to manage to serve the whole establishment! They are doing a great job :) The prices are really reasonable and the food & beverage offerings are quite varied, with options for every hungry & thirsty palate. Any of the meals I’ve had here over the years have been very tasty! They have very good craft beer selections on their rotating taps, and the lattes and similar coffee beverages are made well - very satisfying . The ONLY thing I am hoping will improve are the bathrooms. They could really use a refreshing overhaul. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻:)"
