"What a Sweet Special Bakery! It’s a cold sunny day we strolled in to have lunch. We had delicious paninis and tomato basil and of course dessert. We had 2 BIG cowboy cookies and a slice of chocolate peanut butter Torte. What a treat! Ambiance was so pleasant."

They asked us to submit an image of an idea that she had in mind for the cake. The idea image matched what the Village Bake Shoppe came up with. The cake looked absolutely amazing and we received many compliments on it. The cake tasted great too. "Fantastic bakery. Huge selection of all different types of desserts, also serving hot food, breakfast sandwiches Etc the berry pies were delicious, banana bread was soft and moist, cookies were soft, the chocolate chip cookie I had was one of the best cookies I've ever had! however the buttercream frosting didn't have much flavor to it, just a general sweetness. The lemon Danish had homemade lemon filling which was really great, nothing from a can. The pastry part was a little dense and dry. The pecan butter tart was so delicious! The pecan bar was also great.The brownie was very soft and moist, but the flavor was mediocre. Service was good. Would definitely stop here anytime I'm in the area!"

"OMG - absolutely amazing! Any words I write won't accurately convey just how delicious everything is. We don't have bakeries like this where I live so we took the opportunity to stop in and it took great effort to limit how much we bought. There's so many choices and they all looked delicious, begrudgingly I limited myself to three items. We went later in the evening and I was concerned they weren't going to be stocked, boy was I wrong - full cases and so much variety. My weight is glad I don't live close by but my taste buds are devastated and want me to move here so I can visit everyday!"
