Upon entering you are greeted with a completely different atmosphere; introduced to a crisp scent of coffee beans, gentle auxiliary music, intentional yet subtle decor, and a wonderful staff. The service from the staff is rather exceptional, as they serve with care, make the drinks and food with passion, and maintain the cafe to its upmost cleanest possible condition. The food is amazing, personally, I am a fan of the roast beef smith st. Sandwich paired with a Montana coffee drink. I do recommend you try the iced shaken espresso as they seem to be the main attraction of the cafe. With all possible amenities included (free WiFi, clean private bathroom, sofa seating, outlets, and plenty of seating) there is not a reason I wouldn’t come back on a regular basis. Hard Bean Merrick is truly dominating the cafe industry on Long Island, I just hope you as the reader decide to visit this marvelous place as well."

"I’ve been coming to Hard Bean for a few months now and can say they have never disappointed. They offer many options and different flavors. I highly recommend their matcha and chai tea if you aren’t a coffee drinker. You can definitely taste the quality difference to other companies. I have tried their Banana Matcha and Coconut Caramel Matcha multiple times and the quality/flavor is very consistent. Their food options are delicious and their environment is very welcoming, coming from someone who spends hours there at a time. The service is great and friendly, I highly recommend."

The satisfaction I feel from these drinks are the sole reason I can get up out of bed and on time for work.
