"What up, y’all! I’m back again with another date night review ✨this time for 1803 NYC; a Cajun restaurant located in Tribeca. First off, I love the aesthetic of the place. Decorated with floral elements and fluer de lis fencing, it’s like a small burst of NOLA in NYC. They also sometimes have a band playing live jazz 🎺 Since Babe and I have been exploring all of the raw oyster options we can, I HAD to put him on to the charbroiled version! 1803 NYC does an amazing job with them too; buttery with the perfect amount of spice, they’re definitely a 10/10. We also got some raw oysters, of course. Those were delicious too 🦪 We then got the Brussels sprouts and the sea bass. The Brussel Sprouts were cooked to perfection with a crunchy outer texture and a pillowy inside. And the chilli sauce it comes in? Absolutely BAGING! 🌱As for the sea bass 🐟I wasn’t expecting it to come fried (though I don’t know what I expected after reading cornmeal crusted but ya live and learn right 😭). Either way, the fish was super meaty and well cooked. I also loved the lemon butter caper sauce it came with. Though I personally wasn’t a big fan of the frying mixture used and think the fish would be better served grilled, I enjoyed my overall dining experience✨ Def recommend this spot for a date night or an after work drink 🍸 SN: I LOVE the sauces that come on the table. The Fresno chilli has a vibrant kick while the green sauce was a bit more mellow but packed with flavor. 🌶️ I also wanted to give a quick shoutout to our server, Bridgette! She was super sweet and not only accommodating but also ingenious. When I wanted a refill of my glass, she left me with my original glass and returned with a carafe. I just thought that was so smart (though I’m sure for her it was a no brainer 😂)"

"The service was great! Everyone was friendly, from our server to the food runners. The food was overall good. The charbroiled oysters were delicious, and the Brussels sprouts could have been cooked a little longer, but they tasted great. For our mains, the sauce on the Branzino made it a bit soggy, and the short rib Ragú pasta could have been a bit more al dente. Sorry for the very opinionated review, but it’s with good intentions."

"The staff was beyond welcoming, attentive and friendly. The Oysters were beyond disappointing! Nothing like Drago’s in New Orleans. The meat of the oyster’s were so small there was almost nothing there to eat but the sauce, which was good but there was little meat there was; shriveled! Please don’t order the oysters. I should have sent them back immediately. The bread was soft and nicely toasted but no butter. The ribs were fall off the bone tender but it needed MORE seasoning! They needed , heat, spice and or citrus. They needed something to balance out the sweetness.brought mine home and reseasoned them with garlic and jalapeño, and added Adobo. The best thing to me was the gumbo. Again more seasoning! What do they have against onion, garlic and Tony’s. Finally the bread pudding top with butter pecan ice, delicious! I finished it right there."

"Perfect brunch experience!! The food was delicious. The live music excellent. Atmosphere was inviting and fun. The bread pudding was the best thing I ate in a long time. Incredible mixture of chocolate, caramel ice cream and of course bread pudding. Highly recommend!"

"Wow…what an experience. Allow me a few minutes to convince you to come here since I’m sure that’s the reason you’re reading these reviews..upon arrival the host was extremely welcoming. She gave us a choice in seating and walked us to our table. Cool. She offered us options of still, sparkling or tap water immediately, we love the options! Then she told us about their $30 per person prefix menu and there were a few interesting choices (of course there is a normal menu!)..I got the 1803 burger and the gumbo as a starter. This restaurant is like a mix of northern and southern flavors… the Cajun gumbo was excellent! I kid you not! The burger was so well prepared. I could tell it was quality meat. The brioche bun was superb. The fries? Not the average frozen bag type; they were definitely hand made. Anyway after we packed everything up to go the owner and I had an amazing conversation about our cultures! He’s Guatemalan and very VERY knowledgeable about its geography and history! He has amazing energy and makes customers feel welcomed. I witnessed him treat another couple exactly the same earlier as I was eating my meal, I thought they knew each other!! Turns out he’s just an amazing business owner. There’s also a speak easy downstairs if you’re into that! And a Mardi Gras celebration coming soon! So if you had any doubts about coming here I hope I wiped them all away! Bye now!"
