The sandwich was exactly what it should be—seasoned ground beef chopped up with onions and melted American cheese, topped with lettuce, tomato, and classic condiments on a hero. Simple, filling, and really satisfying. Service was fast and efficient, even with a steady flow of people coming through, including plenty of international visitors checking out the original spot. It has that classic bodega feel and delivers a true New York staple done right. If you want to try the chopped cheese where it all started, this place lives up to its reputation."
