"This brings shame on Australian coffee! A dis-spirited youth who appeared half-stoned didn't even bother to call us when he'd finished a flat white and a cappuccino (despite the order having been a flat white and a laté). The almond croissant we asked for heated had clearly been microwaved. As Australians far from home we needed a proper coffee fix and this was overcooked slop served up with what could be charitably described as a passive-aggressive torpor. Do better."

"Today was the first time I've tried this place, and I don't think I'll be coming back. I ordered an iced coffee and the chicken club toastie. When I requested no onions on the toastie, I was told that "all the sandwiches are premade' so they couldn't be customized. Okay, that's fine. I asked for the chicken salad toastie instead. The sandwich I received had avocado on it, as described on the menu, but due to either sitting in the fridge too long or being at too cold of a temperature, it had turned an entirely unappetizing shade of gray. And while it might technically have been edible, I could not bring myself to eat it in that state. I went back to the counter and showed them the problem, and here is the confusing part - they offered to make me a fresh one. I thought all of the sandwiches were premade? Apparently not. Well, I couldn't stomach any avocado at this point, still being rather nauseated from the first sandwich, so I asked again for the chicken club, resigning myself to the onions I didn't want in the first place. They did make this one fresh (again, puzzling) but it took more than 15 minutes for 3 people to make one sandwich with no other customers in line at all. It was a decent sandwich, but nothing special. Add on to that the temperature of the place (the a/c felt like it was off entirely), the subpar iced coffee (very sour and over brewed, I threw it out after a few sips) and I don't see any reason I'd want to return here when there are much better options in the area."
