"Maple shay was pretty good! Hot chocolate was good as well. Friendly and quick service. This location is inside The Strand bookstore, which was packed (during the holidays) - but there was no wait to order coffee. It's worth stopping in if you like books and good coffee. We were able to walk around the store with our drinks."

"I ordered cold brew and the machine seems to have a problem. The lady still serve the coffee anyway and it tastes weird (very sour + bitter). I told the lady about this and she doesnt seem to care. I decided to order an americano (mind you, i did not ask for a refund or replacement of my first coffee, I ordered another one). And even the americano still tastes weird. I still told the lady "thank you" in which I got no reply. It breaks my heart to put those barely-finished coffee in the trash because they are undrinkable. I have been a regular customer and the coffees that I had previously were great. Perhaps it is time you do a quality control."

"Unfortunately we had a pretty bad experience at this small bookstore cafe. To start with, the barista let the milk steam for too long giving the coffee a gritty taste - but ok that can happen. Then she "served" the coffee away from where we were sitting, although the cafe is tiny and we were the only costumers. Why not just give us the coffee? Finally, she leaves the cafe to go somewhere in the bookstore, and in the process she manages to walk into my husband's shoulder who's sitting by the counter. No apology. All in all we didn't feel welcome and we don't know why we were treated so rudely."
