What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Open floor cafe with a full menu that embraces West African culture. You can go there for coffee, tea, smoothie, or even a hot comfort meal. I had the Ginger Ginjan (hot), and the soup of the day— spicy seafood soup. I also tried the empanadas! Everything was top tier.. I’d go back just for the Ginjan & soup. This place is great for a quick in person study session, meeting up with friends, casual dates, or grab & go!"
"This place is awesome. It is my first time here and I will certainly try to come back. I got a cold brew with a little regular milk and it’s one of my favorite cold brews I’ve had. I also got the Fataya and they are delicious. Sunny spot right near the train. Incredible service and vibes. Good music and space to sit. A place with great coffee and a side of sweet plantains is a gem."
"Wow, probably one of the best coffee shops in New York City. If I could give six Stars for Service, I would! Space is large and modern, with ample space and a laptop friendly atmosphere. Owner's wife is French, so we can trust the croissants to be really good! Perfect for when you have to wait for the train. Pricing was also super fair!"
"Looove the vibe in this cafe. Come spend a good 45 min life break in here.. make acquaintances & try their healthy food selections, or have one of their many delectable drink options! Enjoy a bev & enjoy a book while you sit, theres soo many books lying around!! 10/10 vibes and taste ☕️📚✨ Bonus: They were hosting like a spoken word performance when I went by on a Sunday recently. The cafe was nicely populated with people of all ages & backgrounds sitting all around vibing together, it was awesome to see and experience. The jazz players & the performers (who I think might be employees or maybe even owners?!) were soo authentic and intellectual, i loved the whole thing the spot had going on I definitely would come back anytime, awesome establishment 💯❣️"
"Outside, the endless ballet of 125th Street, an organized chaos. Inside, a pause, a different beat. Here, everyone’s paths cross: the artist sketching in a corner, the politician whispering deals, the traveler between worlds, and the neighbor just checking in. People talk without shouting. They mingle without pushing. The real show is as much inside the café as it is on the street. And the soundtrack is perfectly in tune. Always quality. Sometimes, you’ll even hear a melody with the grace to make you want to dance with your own thoughts. That alone tells you everything about the taste of this place. Add to that the aroma of a coffee with a story to tell, the sharpness of ginger that grounds you in the moment, the simple honesty of a good croissant. It’s an equation that just works. Origins and the present, all in the same cup. You come for the coffee, but you stay for the humanity. A truly remarkable crossroads. Plain and simple."
