"A coffee gem in this part of the East Village with a friendly owner Ioannis. He apologized as the floor was being redone but that didn't matter to me as I was there to have a taste of the coffee. Here the beans are roasted in a roastery. The aroma is like a heavenly perfume. I had my usual skim cappuccino and it was smooth and non acidic. When I told him that it was similar to Blue Bottle Coffee Ioannis was surprised and happy. Customers came in while I was drinking and it seemed like they are regulars. Soon edibles will reappear. I am happy that this cafe has opened as it will be the one I will frequent as often as possible."
