"I recently stumbled across joes on waverly (after living in the neighborhood for 4 years lol) and have been 5-6 times in the past 2 weeks. I want to call out the exceptional service, the baristas are genuinely SO nice. Every single one I’ve met has gone above and beyond and actually smiles! This location is super cozy and great for curling up with a book. I love their almond milk matcha latte as they use kettl so it’s high quality. I tried the pomegranate mocha with almond milk (half sweet as I usually only order black americanos with stevia) and OH. MY. GOODNESS. This was the most delectable drink ever. I think I will dream of this. Half sweet was perfect was I could still taste the espresso and it wasn’t masked with too much sugar. I hope this becomes a permanent menu item. I also love that they don’t charge for alternative milk and the baristas don’t hound over the cash register to watch and see if you tip (I always do, I just hate feeling pressured and a lot of coffee shops do that)"
