"Japanese Italian fusion? Something I obviously had to try! I appreciate Kimika’s creative menu with plenty of vegetarian options. Our waitress Kara/Cara was so friendly and helpful. I started with a Spritz that I think could’ve used some more bubbles, but the flavors were on point. The food was good but I felt like there could’ve been a bit more flavor. We tried the Truffle Carbonara, Soy Butter Bigoli, and Eggplant Katsu - I think the Bigoli was my favorite (think elevated lo mien). For dessert, we tried the lava cake, matcha French toast (would get it with ice cream if I were to over come again) and the Nutella Bombolocini (very creative - think mochi stuffed with Nutella). Overall, I loved the concept of Kimika and the service, but I think there could’ve been just a tad more flavor in some of our dishes. Definitely a place to try once!"

"We had an amazing time at Kimika tonight! My sister, a friend, and I waited about 15 minutes at the bar before getting a table, but honestly, time flew by thanks to the great vibes and the super friendly bartender who even brought us some bread. Once we were seated, Kara, our server, was absolutely outstanding — attentive, warm, and always available. Every person in the service industry should follow her example! We absolutely loved her. Roberto was also fantastic, full of charm and great energy. We started with the tuna tartare as an appetizer, and it was absolutely incredible — so fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The drinks were outstanding — my mezcal cocktail came with prosciutto on the side (amazing combo!), my sister had a sangria, and my friend enjoyed a beer. We shared a skirt steak, cooked perfectly medium, with peppers and green sauce — delicious! The truffle carbonara was out of this world — one of the best pastas I’ve ever had. And the salmon soba was just as impressive. To finish, we had the apple pie with espresso ice cream, and it was absolutely delicious — the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. The restaurant’s atmosphere is cozy yet elegant, perfect for conversation and enjoying great food. We’d come back a thousand times — especially if Kara and Roberto are there! 💖"

"Came here twice I think its unique but decent. Apps are okay, uni toast is interesting yet i think its better off without the toast. The deconstructed tartare was good but nothing special. For the entrees, the risotto was probably the dish I enjoyed the most and better than the soy butter bigoli that I ordered. The bigoli was a bit too oily and overly salty for my liking. Dessert wasn’t that good either, apple pie was too sweet and the bomboloncini too, I wouldn’t want to get them again. Which is weird because usually dessert is my favorite part of the meal. It felt too expensive for the food and experience, around 200+ for two people and somehow I was left expecting more from here."

"We booked a private room to celebrate our engagement with 14 people total and it was absolutely amazing! Darwin and his staff were extremely kind and well-accommodating. They were very mindful about giving us privacy, as well as bringing in the food and cleaning dirty plates. The food was a prix fixe menu that was very delicious! The room was also the perfect size and didn’t feel cramped at all, and they allowed us to arrive early to decorate it! Highly recommend this place for private events or just dining in!"

"Quite disappointed given the good reviews and the price. I got the brick chicken and the soy butter bigoli so almost 100$, and I was still super hungry after :( The soy butter bigoli is basically chinese fried noodles but with al dente spagetti and butter. I didn't know the "soy" in "soy butter" basically just meant "soy sauce". I thought it would be more like a creamy soy milk. But yeah, if you forget that you're in a fancy restaurant, you do feel like just eating spagetti with soy sauce and butter, kinda like your chinese roommate wanted to innovate or smth. Well it's not bad, but it's really oily, and just kinda salty... a bit burnt... exactly how it sounds. The chicken was dry. And nothing fancy. Good portion but yeah it's just a piece of chicken, you gotta pay even more for a side... I was hyped for desert, and got the apple pie. It looks really nice, but it's very very basic. But I'm not so mad about that because 12$ for that is ok. But I would not get it again, it's way too sweet and is drowing in sweet syrup, the apple pieces are not melted, and they're too acidic and slightly bitter. Just average. Very small amount of espresso ice cream. Nice place though. Service is not fast."
