from Google & Yelp"The coffee was delicious! The cardamon latte was so yummy (and they made it warm despite of appearing in the “cold drinks” section of the menu). The place was busy and we couldn’t sit. However, we were happy we didn’t have to queue! The cardamon bun texture wasn’t great. It wasn’t fluffy/airy and it felt too dense. The Swiss pain was delicious and overall perfect. We recommend the place for the coffee, but we also find it quite expensive. Not worth it if you cannot even sit. Almost 32$ w/o tip for 2 coffees and 2 pastries. The staff was very kind."
"This is truly one of the finest cafés in New York City. Originally from Denmark, they now have multiple locations across the city, and I’ve visited one — this one happens to be a bit more spacious. When I stopped by on a weekday afternoon, the place was buzzing with energy. There was a steady line at the counter, but the atmosphere felt cozy and lively. I ordered my usual iced cardamom latte, which I highly recommend if you love the aroma of cardamom. The sweetness is perfectly balanced, the coffee smooth, and the milk-to-espresso ratio spot-on. That subtle hint of cardamom really elevates the flavor — it’s one of my absolute favorites. I also picked up a ham and cheese croissant. The barista didn’t warm it up, and I didn’t ask either — but even served cold, it tasted delicious. Flaky, buttery, and satisfying enough to devour right away. I can only imagine it would be even better warm. Overall, great coffee, good food, and an inviting atmosphere. Definitely one of my go-to café spots in NYC — I’ll absolutely be back."
"No matter how many times I visit New York, La Cabra in SoHo is always a must-stop for me. There’s something about this place that just feels right every single time. The coffee is consistently excellent — clean, balanced, and thoughtfully brewed. But beyond the drinks, I really love the atmosphere here. It’s calm, warm, and effortlessly stylish, making it a perfect spot to slow down for a moment in the middle of the city. It’s one of those cafés you don’t just go to for coffee, but for the feeling. A place I’ll keep coming back to whenever I’m in NYC."
"Truly the greatest coffee shop I have ever been to. A genuine 5 star experience from tip to tails. Yes the cardamom bun is perfect, yes the $12 pour over is WELL worth it. And yes they have phenomenal espresso drinks and alternative milk options. The team there was super dialed and friendly, the space is designed for connection, and the music and aesthetic was harmonious. I could sit there with my thoughts and a coffee for the rest of time! Come open a shop in Denver please!"
"This coffee spot is next to my new job and this was the first place they took me on my first day of work Immediately she raved about the cardamom bun and let me tell you it did not disappoint. I think about that bun all the time it was delicious. I have gone back multiple times for lattes and coffee and I just really like the shop. Everything has been good and there’s a bunch of pastries I wanna try. However, note that there may be a line sometimes and line can get pretty long in the morning I will Keep Coming back"
"Top notch coffee spot and cafe. Not sure if need to rave and review any more than all the yelp and google reviews folks have already posted. Verdict - for..."
