What People Are Saying

from Google & Yelp

"the banana chocolate loaf was okay. tasted kinda of dry and has way more chocolate flavor than banana. it’s more like chocolate loaf with a hint of banana. the iced strawberry shortcake latte was super good and my bf got the iced french toast latte which he thought it was okay. maybe need a pump more of flavor if you like more sweeter tasting coffee. overall rate our experience 9/10!"

"Instantly felt invited in from the cold. The two baristas were very pleasant and helpful. They actually were knowledgeable about their drinks and coffee and how to tailor them. Dylan was so nice. I really enjoyed their Dubai chocolate as it was the first one I’ve had not overly sweet. Lots of space to sit down and enjoy your coffee or do some work. Definitely recommend!"

"Mokafé is our go to spot every time we are in NYC🤗 it’s not far from Port Authority Station. Has lots of seating with an upstairs, floor level, and downstairs. There are two restrooms with a code you get from the staff. Staff is always kind and courteous and their food and coffee options are always so delicious. Highly recommend you stop by if you are in the area!"

"Mokafe stands out as one of New York's nicest halal cafes, combining beautiful, aesthetically appealing decor with a truly delicious menu. Their breakfast is a highlight, featuring freshly baked croissants made in-house and sandwiches crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The cafe offers ample seating across both the top and bottom floors, providing a comfortable and spacious environment. It's consistently very well-maintained and neat. Highly recommended!"

"I left genuinely impressed and a little regretful that I only picked out a couple things when the whole menu and display case looked so tempting. I went with the stuffed pistachio-chocolate croissant and a Nutella latte: the croissant was flaky with a rich pistachio filling and melty chocolate, and the latte was smooth and nutty without being overly sweet. Every bite and sip felt intentional—from temperature to texture—which made the flavors pop. The café itself is beautifully decorated and spacious, an easy spot for studying or hanging out without feeling cramped. It is a bit pricey, but the quality, portions, and atmosphere make it worth it—and with so many creative options on the menu, I’m already planning a round two to try more!"

"Well this is a gem! Stopped for a few pastries and while it was overpriced they were delicious and novel. Didn't come off as the typical or mainstream..."
