"I’m not vegan, but this place truly impressed me. The pesto mac & cheese is hands down the best mac & cheese I’ve had in my life — I finished every bite. It was that good. The burger sandwich was also awesome, full of flavor and very satisfying. What really made the experience even better was the staff — everyone was friendly, lovely, and provided great service. You can really feel the passion and hard work behind this restaurant. I’ll definitely come back again the next time I visit New York. "I really enjoyed Peacefood on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Friendly servers and great food. I had the French toast and fruit. Cooked berries in top with cinnamon and sugar was divine!! I ordered a coffee with almond milk and the almond milk was steamed and foamy! Such a nice touch! I like strong coffee so that was slightly underwhelming as it was a tad watery but overall everything was great."

"there's not a lot of not-insanely-expensive vegan spots left in the city, and Peacefood is a great one to visit! not only do they have a full bakery that can't be beat (omg their cashew cheesecake), but their menu has added even more variety over the years. highly suggest starting with their dumplings, but honestly I've found everything they serve delightful. highly recommend if you're in the area!"
