"Here is why I love NYC. You can jump in to the most random neighborhood coffee shop and get to taste seriously good stuff. I had their almond croissant which was delicious and filled with a tasty almond cream. The coffee was well balanced."

"I’ve been frequenting this coffee shop since they opened up in my neighborhood and I’ve watched it become better and better through the years. The staff is lovely and the coffee and pastries are really high quality. The owners are also thoughtful and receptive to feedback. I once emailed them, years ago, about a particularly surly barista and the lack of diversity on their staff at the time and I received a sincere response and more importantly I saw they responded to the feedback by assertively hiring a more diverse staff of folks who are genuinely warm and welcoming. I don’t think I ever wrote back but this is my acknowledgment a few years later."

"I come here practically every day; they have the best coffee. I always order a double cappuccino, and all pastries are delicious, especially the one with strawberry and cream. It is a small place, but people come and go, and you can always find a spot for yourself. At least that's what I do. ❤️"

"Small cafeteria with an interesting selection of coffee beans. They don’t serve pour-overs from that selection, though — “because it would be unsustainable [for the business],” according to the staff. An unjustifiable sin in the end, in my opinion. Apart from that, the service is rather dry, so to speak, and the place is poorly furnished. There’s no Wi-Fi or power outlets either."
