"This is an amazing music venue. Come, drink, dance! The place has really cool and unpretentious vibe. We have not eaten there and they seem to have an interesting menu. However, we watched friends waiting an excruciatingly long time for a food order - the well-meaning kitchen staff seemed totally overwhelmed. This could have been a blip, so see if other reviews support this. Best option seems to be to come very early (before bands come on) to eat or dine elsewhere."

"We has the lamb shawarma which was quite tough and dry. The hummus was good. Service was very good too. There's live music playing in the basement so it could get noisy and loud."

"Went for lunch. Cute place with nice vibe, had to wait a little to get seats at a very wobbly table. Staff was nice and friendly. Part of the reason we came was because we knew they had a gluten free menu, as one of our family members has celiac. He wanted to order the schnitzel, which was listed as GF on the menu, but we double checked it, and it actually wasn't! So he got the salmon salad. He said the salmon was very dry. I ordered falafels - which were very good, and the shakshuka, which I didn't really care for. It was covered in green olives and feta, and I had to dig to find the eggs. The tomato sauce was overly spicy and I left most of it over. The chicken shawarma was too bland, and the fluffy potato chips were ok. Overall, not sure if we will be back, or maybe only to buy something from the cute shop that is in the front area that sells jewelry bags and scarves. Disappointed"

"Silvana's atmosphere is quite cozy and makes you feel at home. The seating in the cafe was communal so you may sit with other patrons depending on how busy it is. The service was generally good but it felt that they forgot about my date and I at times. I was curious to try their shakshuka and it was spot on with the spices and heat level. The dish came in a small cast iron pan which I really liked but it would've been good to see the eggs on top, sunnyside up. Unfortunately, some of the egg sank below the tomato sauce and got burnt."
