What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"I popped into this place for a quick coffee break☕️ The waitress was lovely, and I ordered some banana bread - she warmed it up for me on the spot, which made it a really nice little moment. The service is good, but the coffee itself just isn't nice at all. Consider yourself warned‼️"
"Walking out of Chelsea Market, I wanted a cup of coffee so I instinctively turned toward Starbucks Reserve next door where they have fantastic selections from countries all over the world. But wait...I thought to myself as I stopped...I should support the local businesses, support the neighborhood. So I turned up instead to Stone Street Coffee. When I walked in, there was already one customer but strangely he is sitting and chilling on the stool by the cash register...I thought this was weird bc normally at this place without seating, ppl just stand at the counter, order, get coffee, pay and leave. I should have known this was a red flag. Turns out the barista was on the first of 3 lattes and this customer must have known how long it takes this guy to make a drink so he probably sat down to get comfortable. I just wanted a cup of coffee but I watched this barista go through the motions of making *3* lattes like he was heavily sedated or if he was recovering from a stroke as every movement was made at a glacial pace. This barista was totally unbothered and in no hurry despite me standing there awkwardly waiting in silence. He even paused what he was doing at one point to change his rap music! Even after waiting the eternity for him to finally get to my simple cup of coffee, he misheard the type of milk I asked for and had to make it again. Look, I'm all for supporting local businesses but there has to be something worthwhile supporting. They have to understand the competition they're up against and if this is the level of effort and service I'm going to get here, why am I going to choose it over Starbucks?"
"Had a great experience talking with Keith this morning. Man pulls a mean shot and tells a good story. Definitely swing by and hang out for a moment or two"
"Coffee is not great. Over-burnt espresso. My latte tasted so bitter that no milk could cover it. Also I don't trust that ancient La Marzocco... Not sure if that's a specialty coffee roasters but maybe train your baristas better. If I wanted to get bad coffee I'd go to Starbucks"
"Very good. Would definitely come back. The matcha latte is freshly made. staff very friendly. They have a bar behind the cafe even!"
"I live in Florida, but placed my order through their website. Their product and customer service is spectacular."
