"We tried this upon seeing it and the flavor concepts they offer are trendy and yummy, but unfortunately this matcha was not a hit compared to something local and hand-whisked. Matcha is premixed in multiple bottles which makes it watery as it settles. There is a lot of staff, I know they’re paid but they are highly busy because of the mobile orders and extreme load of guests. Still the staff here were nice despite dealing with all of the chaos. However I implore people to look into and find a local hand-whisked matcha place. Skip Blank Street because of the matcha quality and what’s behind the brand. You have to look into it and also go someplace w proper matcha to see what I’m talking about."

"Review for Blank Street Coffee – Friday, October 24, 2025 Yesterday, Thursday, October 23, I went to Blank Street Coffee to buy five café au lait drinks (half coffee, half steamed milk) for the five cooks at our restaurant. The drinks were delicious — perfectly made, smooth, and exactly how a café au lait should taste. Our chef even authorized me to go again today, Friday, to buy more café au lait, exactly like the ones we enjoyed yesterday. Unfortunately, today’s experience was completely disappointing. I ordered seven café au lait drinks, but what we received was nothing like yesterday’s. The coffee today was bitter, sour, and undrinkable. It was not café au lait — it was just coffee with a little bit of half and half. All seven drinks had coffee grounds floating inside the cups, and the taste was so unpleasant that we had to throw them all away. I know exactly what a proper café au lait is supposed to taste like, and today’s drinks were far from that. I even have the receipt from today’s purchase to show how much I paid. Each cook gave me five dollars for their drink, and it was very disappointing to waste both the money and the coffee. The same lady who took my order yesterday was at the cashier today, so I expected the same quality and service, but unfortunately, that was not the case. After today’s bad experience, I will have to look for another coffee shop where I can buy real café au lait made with care and consistency. "We are walking around Soho and saw a giant line outside the store, super busy. We got a regular Matcha latte and a white chocolate Matcha latte, The color on the drink are super nice. The white chocolate flavor was there and tasted good and the overall atmosphere of the store was really cool. I probably wouldn’t come again though mostly because it was extremely busy and also because I couldn’t really taste too much at that well. Still good drinks tho, presentations were super nice!"

"We decided to try out this location for blank street and it was good. Staff were sweet. I got the Cold Brew Latte with vanilla syrup. It was made just the way I like it and not too sweet. My sister decided to risk it for both of us and get the matcha. We stick to homemade matcha so this was a big move. She actually liked it and said it wasn’t too bitter or too sweet. She got the Daydream matcha! 🌱☕️"
