About The Lazy Llama Coffee Bar
Welcome to The Lazy Llama Coffee Bar, a beloved East Village gem where genuine hospitality meets exceptional coffee. Our regulars keep coming back for consistently perfect lattes and freshly baked pastries that taste like they were made just for you—because in a neighborhood full of chains, we believe in the personal touch that only an independent café can offer. Whether you're a longtime local or discovering us for the first time, you'll find a warm space that feels like home.
What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"What a pleasant discovery during our walk in the East Village. We didn’t know this place at all but we saw it and stopped by for a quick coffee. We enjoyed a very nice Pastel de Nata (it brought me back to my times in Portugal)… after that we got a piece of Banana Bread and 2 well done espresso. Place was nice too. Small but quiet and cozy. Baristas were polite and attentive. We will definitely go back!"
"My go-to coffee shop now! The latte always comes out the way I like it, and their pastries are delish. Super sweet and friendly staff, especially Sam and Enbiya. Always love coming here!"
"Super regular coffee shop, serves devocion, nothing too special, but nice. A little bit of seating, it’s never too busy. There are 2 tables outside. No AC. No laptops on weekend. Good latte. They have pistachio milk."
"Amazing coffee! And the barista was incredibly nice! This is such a beautiful quiet little cafe just off Houston Street, gonna be one of my regular stops from now on!"
"As someone who usually makes my own coffee, it’s rare I go out to get a cup of coffee. I stopped in because I was staying in the neighborhood and needed a coffee to get me home, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Friendly barista, a little chit chat but not too much, and my black americano came out quick and not screaming hot. The flavor of the roast was perfect, not bitter or acidic. Would definitely come back again"
