What People Are Saying

from Google & Yelp

"This place is dangerous in the best way. The coconut pastries were absolutely delicious, and the pistachio tiramisu was just as good, rich, balanced, and somehow not too heavy. Everything looks like edible art, to the point where I genuinely paused and thought, “Am I allowed to eat this?” Turns out yes and you should. There are so many options that I already have a return visit planned. Beautiful desserts, flawless execution, and worth it even if you “just want a little something.”"

"Pleasantly surprised at how good the desserts here were. Banoffee is my favorite so far, banana taste isn’t strong, this is rich dessert so if you’re not into rich desserts skip, not overly sweet either. 10/10! Lemon-Yuzu tart was also good. They suggested I try the strawberry white tea, so good and refreshing, addictive. Their sausage egg and English muffin was huge for price, taste was ok, decent, egg was dry, not my favorite. The customer service varies for sure. Lukewarm, overall I’ll come back."

"Oasis Cafe (857 9th Ave) is a great spot for pastries; genuinely impressive and full of flavor. Everything we tried tasted fresh and well made, definitely a highlight and reason to stop by. The seating, however, is quite limited and mostly tucked away in the back, which makes staying a bit less comfortable. The tea selection was also fairly basic and could use some improvement. Overall, a strong choice for high-quality pastries, especially for takeaway, but with room to grow on the sit-down experience."

"I ordered a peanut butter iced latte, something pretty unique. Was looking for a light snack, so bought a Greek pastry. They also offer lots of pastries and even cakes. The menu has some breakfast or lunch items as well."

"I loved the bakery items ! They have my favorite trompe-l'œil of the ones I’ve tried. But the service & matcha was not good :( she walked away in the middle of my order; she didn’t finish taking it and charged me for an incomplete order because she abruptly walked away to what seemed like take the store phone from her co worker. My matcha was so powdery and undissolved that it was undrinkable. It seemed like she was being selectively nice with customers. I wanted to come back but didn’t feel welcome."

"Look I'm just happy there's a cute cafe with cushy chairs open the day after Christmas. No complaints really. The coffee is good, my ham and cheese..."
