What People Are Saying

"Cozy café with a warm vibe. Ok-ish coffee. They offer oat milk for coffee, which I really appreciate. They have Niagara Falls–themed merchandise and cute pins. Good for a quick break!"

"Stopped in for a karaoke night. It was a nice snowy evening so the vibes were warm and cozy. Nice turn out of singers and support. I had a perfect hot chocolate. Got stuck a bit in the snow and the owner was nice enough to help dig me out, help get the van out of the lot, and calmed my nerves when the anxiety started to get the bette of me. Will be going back and can’t wait to try the baked options!"

"I am so incredibly grateful that I finally have a cozy coffee shop to relax in. The menu is just as uniquely incredible as the family that runs it. The food is delicious and always hits the spot. The baked goods are my absolute favorite. The different types of biscotti keep me coming back weekly for discount Mondays!😋 The vibes are impeccable and I could honestly live there and exist for hours. It’s a totally different world when you step into Misty Guild and it’s a world worth visiting 👾 I’m looking forward to their local events in the future. Thank you for giving this city a safe space and something to do!!! Congratulations! You did it 🎉 World’s best cup of coffee 🏆"

"Very excellent local coffee joint, great for games and activities, or just chilling out. The hours (as of this writing) all end at 5 pm, but they often have small events, like Open Mic nights or gaming parties or trivia, just ask when you go in. If you're a TTRPG player (D&D, Pathfinder, etc), or a CCG player (Magic: The Gathering, Yugioh, etc), you'll find a great space to hang. The employees say they're about to get retail licensing for a couple CCGs, too, so you may have more reasons to visit. Much of the merch they do have (pins, shirts, knit hats, dice bags, and a few other knick knacks) is gamer-oriented, or happy making for neuro-spicy individuals. Seating is comfortable, and they've had the sense to run power strips between most the booths so you can power your laptop or charge your phone or whatever. Lighting is a bit soft, which is nice for me, tho plenty of natural light comes in the front wall, which is almost entirely windows. The back patio is open seasonally, too. I reduced the star on the food only because I want more potato options, but that's a me thing. (Sue me, I want hashbrowns, homefries, skillet potatoes, something besides just chips/crisps.) Otherwise, the panini and sandwich options are pretty great, and they have salads and great pastries/baked items. The 1-star reviews baffle me, as they sound nothing like the experiences I've been having here. I can understand that sometimes food comes out bad, but the "rude" comment or two is strange to me. I think maybe some folks just rub some other folks the wrong way. (Tho one guy clearly just tried really hard to be unhappy, despite getting polite, thotful service.) If you want a fantastic local spot for community building and a cup of coffee, this is one of the best shops you can pick. If you like Caffe Aroma in Buffalo (Elmwood), this place will feel a little like that. Enjoy."

"We were looking for good coffee in the American sure of the Falls and found this place. Quiet on a Sunday afternoon, but totally up our alley. The vibe is nerdy with Pokemon colouring options, DnD stickers and patches, and other fun stuff. Owner was chatty, explained how he built and designed everything himself, all the baked goods are his own. We loved the tiramisu, would highly recommend it. Had some lovely decaf flat whites as well. Would come back if we're ever this side of the border again."
