"Staying in Buffalo, NY for a long weekend and just happened to stop by this little cafe on our way to see Niagara Falls. It had good reviews so I had pretty high expectations, but somehow they were still all exceeded! This was easily one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! Everything was incredible, from the shredded hashbrowns to the bacon, to the “Colleen’s” cinnamon swirl pancakes that didn’t need a drop of syrup. It was pretty busy when we showed up around noon but we were seated and served within 20 minutes! I can’t recommend this place enough. Definitely try it out if you ever find yourself in the area!"

"We are visiting from out of town and had met a waitress, Christine when we went to dinner the other night and she had told us about breakfast here because she works here too. She insisted on getting the Eggs Benedict and the pancakes that are like a cinnamon roll so that’s what we got and they didn’t disappoint. My husband got the Eggs Benedict and I got the pancakes. Normally I wouldn’t go for that expecting them to be too sweet, and they weren’t at all. The cinnamon swirl was slightly caramelized from the griddle so it added a little crunch to them, they were amazing. The Benedict was so good as well, super flavorful and not heavy at all. We’re going to try going again tomorrow before we head home!"

"Very nicely spaced out tables. Was about half full when I got in. Waitress was extremely kind and helpful; I got a special of the day pancake with bacon, and my partner got eggs Benedict. We also split an order of Colleen's famous French toast. The waitress recommended trying the French toast without syrup first and my God was she right. Ugh they were so good. Crispy sugary almost shell with super creamy and fluffy bread. The pancakes I got were also an amazing mix of crunchy and soft. Incredible flavors. Devoured the entire plate. Definitely coming back if I'm ever in the area again!!!"

"This was my first time here. If you love a small business, diner atmosphere.....this is your place! Friendly, kind and knowledgeable staff. Delicious food and certainly reasonably priced. The wait staff was always offering a top off on my coffee too! Thank you Nelson's for remaining true to good 'ole home cooked food at a fair price with customer service! "Please do yourself a favor and plan having breakfast at this location during your visit to Niagara Falls. The pancakes are to die for!! They are just delicious. Just pair them with eggs of your preference and bacon or else and have an awesome breakfast here. The service is very friendly and I personally enjoyed very much the authentic north New York atmosphere. It might get busy and the place is not large, so plan accordingly."
