"This is my favorite breakfast place in the area. We have been here multiple times. My favorite is the crab cake Benedict. I have even ordered it to go as well. My husband had a special Shrimp and Grits and it was amazing. The chef knows his stuff! He even came out and asked how the grits were because he said it was a family recipe but it was a special for the day."

"First off, we waited about 30 minutes to be seated which is totally fine if the food is good. It was not in fact good. For starters, the hollandaise was weirdly cheesy. The breakfast tacos had barely any meat or peppers and the cheese was cold which made the eggs cold. But the true abomination of this meal was the salsa! It will forever remain the most vile “salsa” I have ever had the displeasure of consuming. It’s a tomato paste base with some green peppers and chopped onions added. Literally just tastes like a mouthful of those little cans of tomato paste! Also the hash”browns” were whiter than my legs after a winter in Akron. The place was very cute and servers were pleasant, thus the two stars and not one. Tragic…."

"Decided to try this spot based on recommendations. It did not disappoint! Wonderful breakfast menu which we took advantage of. Prices are good, portions were nice and we left very full. I will definitely be back to try some different things. Cook clearly enjoys what he does and took care to make sure everything looked and tasted great! My friend was excited to try the shrimp and grits as you can't get that everywhere. He loved it! Thank you for a great experience!!"

"Although the location is out of the way and the outside plaza is unassuming, the boathouse cafe is a great brunch spot. The lighting is fantastic. It provides for a great ambience and amazing photos. Additionally, the decorations and theme are consistent and add a nice visual appeal to the place. It is small, but comfortable. The biggest draw of the place is how visually appealing it is inside. However, the food is quite good too. I have come for brunch on several occasions and have found the crepes and waffles to be my favorites. A great date spot or place to bring family or friends"
