The service model is wonderfully efficient: you order at the counter and the wonderful staff brings your freshly prepared food right to your table. The atmosphere is casual, clean, and inviting. A huge bonus during warmer months is their fantastic outdoor patio, perfect for people-watching in Highland Square! Now, onto the stars of the show, the food. Everything I've tried has been exceptional. The Buffalo Cauliflower is an absolute must-try appetizer; it's crispy, perfectly sauced, and surprisingly filling. Their tacos are vibrant and delicious, packed with flavor. For sandwich lovers, the Avocado BLT is a masterpiece of texture and taste. You can truly taste the quality in every bite. An incredible added bonus is the drink situation: they have great in-house drinks, but you are also encouraged to bring up a beer or wine from the massive selection available in the Mustard Seed Market downstairs. "We found this amazing place thanks to a recommendation from a local we met at a Stan Hywet museum. We're visiting from Florida and asked her for a local spot, and I'm so glad we did. The food is absolutely delicious and tastes so fresh. We ordered the avocado BLT, and the sourdough bread was perfectly crispy and delicious. We also had the wings as an appetizer, and my strawberry lemonade was wonderful. The flourless cake was an excellent finish to the meal. This place is a definite must-try, and I'll be recommending it to everyone I know!"

"I love coming to Mustard Seed Cafe. The food is delicious (and portions are generous!) and the staff is kind. I brought myself here on a solo date recently and had my favorite meal (Strawberry Fields Salad and truffle fries) out on the deck. Enjoyed a couple of drinks too, and moved inside once the sun got too hot. Then went off to my movie at The Nightlight. Always a pleasure!"

"We got there late so the late night menu offered pretty much only appetizers and each better than the other! Buffalo Cauliflower to die for, vegan chicken tacos and quinoa nachos. All vegan and all delicious!"

"No greeting, couldn't find a menu...eventually ordered. Given a warm strawberry lemonade that honestly didn't taste much like either thing for a fresh ingredients type of place. The BLT was so overbuttered that I opted not to finish and the overpriced chicken we added to the salad was not cooked thoroughly. The outside seating is nice."
