from Google & Yelp"I have been a patron for years. When I first moved to the area almost 30 years ago I had my first cup of Diana. My taste has progressed and I buy mostly their blends (Hells half acre and Scandinavian are my favs) and single origin beans (kenyan, Tanzanian AA and Papua New Guinea cannot be beat or found elsewhere in the area). The bean quality is exceptional and there are very few if any broken beans. They have their own line of tea bags (Diana single cup and gallon tea bags) that I particularly enjoy iced. I look forward to seeing and chatting with the customers, owner and employees. The shop dog (Ella) is always on the lookout for customers and loves a good petting:) Nice stop if you are out on your motorcycle or touring the Ohio & Erie Canalway-America's Byway."
"I went here after getting out of school early to just shop around the city a little bit and I couldn’t help but notice the negative vibe from one of the employees or owner, she was a old white lady with blond hair, and while I was shopping around for teas she stared at me the whole time and made me feel very uncomfortable. I was dressed down because I obviously just got out of school but the way she looked me up and down was just rude. Anyways the cashier was nice but I would advise that lady to maybe be more welcoming?? Idk I was only 16!! And also when I first came and asked if they were opened she got snarky."
"Awesome coffee !!!! Please go try ! Excellent customer service and very nice and welcoming! Taste is immaculate! A must try !"
"Very reasonably priced coffee, and SO FRESH. They usually have some bagged and ready, but if they don’t, just ask them what they have and they’ll bag you what’s been recently roasted. We’ve been drinking our way through this shop for the last six months, and have zero plans of slowing down. Both the black coffees and the flavored coffees are well worth their weight."
"After reading an article in Akrons bicentennial magazine, I decided to stop in to support this local business, under the impression this was a coffee shop, not solely a roaster. I entered through a very narrow hallway that had a simple display of beans and teas. A second customer came in, and needing to get past me, I moved forward to let him squeeze through. An employee opened a door and hit the customer. The gentleman apologized for being in HER WAY, and the lady said nothing. She didn't even acknowledge his apology, let alone give her own... This struck me as odd, but I continued to browse through their limited options for whole beans, while feeling her gaze burning a hole through the back of my head. I was wearing a dirty hoodie because I was on my way home from helping a friend, so I'm guessing she assumed I was going to steal something... I'll leave the rest of my experience with her out of this because it was likely heavily influenced by her lack of courtesy and overall unpleasant demeanor. What I will add is that I believe a second employee recognized my disgust and was exceedingly pleasant in compensation. She unnecessarily apologized to me for the mildly slow service and thanked me for my patience, as well as a second interaction where she cheerfully explained how long the company had been in business. As for the beans, I nervously just grabbed the bag I was looking at when the awkward interaction began. Sadly, I got a 16oz bag of Costa Rica Tarrazu fpr $20 that wasn't labeled as light, medium, or dark roast and unfortunately it turned out to be a dark roast that I didn't enjoy in my pour over when I got home. Admittedly, I'm not a fan of dark roast coffee, so my opinion of this bean means little. This morning, I tried to use it in place of an espresso blend for a latte, and I'm equally not impressed. I typically prefer to leave positive reviews for local businesses because I understand all too well how impactful reviews can be. I actually feel bad leaving this review. Thank you second employee for the positive portion of my experience."
"Everyone is always so helpful. I love getting my beans freshly roasted rather than from a grocery store!"
