What People Are Saying
from Google"Wow! Super sweet food, a variety of drinks options and very kind people who work here. The cookie i got was over the top and the strawberry drink hit the spot. I don't know what kolacheez is but now I have to look it up. Thanks!"
"I recently rode my bicycle across the state of Ohio on The Ohio to Erie Trail. I saw signs for this coffee bar and decided to make this a dedicated stop. I was greeted out front by the owner when I arrived on bike and he was super friendly. Told me to take my bike inside and make myself at home. I ordered an ice coffee and a strawberry banana smoothie. Both were very delicious and affordable. The owner came over to chat with me for a while. We had a great conversation about the history of the coffee bar and just life in general. They even let me hang out a little past closing time and didn’t even mention to me it was time to close up. I only figured out they were closed when I asked “what time do you close today” Haha. I stayed a few more minutes longer and took my ice coffee to go! The hospitality was of the highest standards and I would recommend this place to everyone."
"My friends and I were riding OTET and tried stopping trail side in for something to drink. Both shops we saw were closed. As we resigned ourselves to riding up the trail to the next town, the owner of Kolacheez pulled up in his car to invite us to his place. Though Kolacheez closed at 3pm and it was 2:55, he kept his store open so we could have food and drinks. I cannot say enough about how his hospitality and kindness changed the course of the day. Thank you so much for taking care of us and going out of your way to do it!"
"Superb little gem off the beaten path but worth the drive. We had the sausage and cheese/and the same with jalapeno. Dough was perfect. Soft and melty like a Texas Roadhouse roll but with meat inside! They rotate several different variations of the sweet ones. We had the classic and apple, good flavor, soft and fresh and will be on the lookout for cheery and strawberry. I even took home a cowboy cookie"
"Cute little spot, right off the Ohio to Erie trail which makes it a perfect pit stop on a bike ride. The Kolache was really, really good. I got the traditional lemon variety. I got an iced latte, it was just ok, I think it was drip coffee and milk instead of espresso. The inside is small, I think there’s a lofted seating area but I didn’t explore. Outside there are plenty of bike racks and picnic tables. But the food, service, and charm made up for whatever the coffee lacked to me."
