"We started with a Kick in the Face, it was an excellent slightly spicy margarita. Next, we started with the blistered shishto peppers. They were definitely a different for an appetizer and a great portion for the price - they would be great for a group of 4-6 but hard for two to eat that many peppers. For our shared main course we selected empanadas, street tacos, and a side of Brussel Sprouts. We had 2 different tacos - chimi chicken and chorizo. The chorizo was our favorite! I will be back just for that! We had three different empanadas - short rib, de carne, and chicken salsa verde. The short rib was good but the chicken salsa verde was the best. What really made the empanadas was the full of flavor green chimichuri salsa. The Brussels sprouts were good nothing too special. Our server was a delight! Very welcoming and informative with any questions we had."

"We had a fantastic experience at Ché, starting our evening with cocktails and the triple dip. For our main course, we each chose the 'Pick 3' empanada option. Every empanada was a great size, flavorful, and clearly freshly fried. While all were good, the Mushroom Feta and the Short Rib were my favorites. My husband enjoyed his meal so much that he actually ordered a second round of three immediately after finishing his first! We finished our dinner with the ricotta donuts, which were absolutely outstanding and provided the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Beyond the food, the service was excellent; our server was friendly, patient and took the time to answer all of our questions. We also loved discovering they offer a 'take and bake' option so you can enjoy their empanadas at home. Regarding parking, paid street parking options are available. I found the app to be quite convenient for managing payments and adjusting our parking duration. Overall, if you are looking for a spot in Cincinnati with a great atmosphere and even better food, Ché is a must-visit. Don't leave without trying the donuts!"

"I travel for work and was so looking forward to dining here. I’m Argentinean and love to visit and support local Argentinean restaurants in every city I go to. I’m not sure if we came on a bad night, but we were the only table at 8p on a Monday night and was hoping for a great parrillada experience (I was really rooting for it!). The waitress was very friendly, and the place has a cool vibe - we even got a Fernet and Coke and Quilmes. But between some “miscommunication” with the cooks, the food didn’t hit the way I hoped and it also came out at scattered times (the lomito sandwich came about 30 minutes later). The meat came mostly well-done even though we ordered medium rare. It also came out at room temperature. Decent flavors. Worth knowing that the [deep fried] empanadas and potatoes were good. The presentation all looked pretty good. Weird combination of flavors for my taste palette - and everyone else at the table - but I give credit to the restaurant making an attempt to be very fusion in style. I would not say it is an authentic Argentinean restaurant, and I don’t fault them for that. But I do wish some of the flavors got along better and decided what it’s trying to be - maybe TOO fusion-y? The evening came to a halt when the cooks began to wash the grills about 10 feet from our table and we were literally smoked out of the restaurant. We just got up, paid and had to leave covering our noses. Not a great evening altogether. But I do love that we found an Argentinean style restaurant."

"I’m from Argentina and came here with high expectations. Only three items on the entire menu were actually Argentine: the empanadas, choripán, and lomito. Everything else felt like a made-up fusion that really didn’t reflect traditional Argentine food. I ordered the lomito and specifically asked for no spicy, but it still came extremely spicy. I had to return it and asked for empanadas instead. The first food took about 30 minutes to arrive, and then I waited another 30 minutes for the empanadas. My fiancé ordered Brussels sprouts as a side, and they didn’t come out until an hour later, at the same time as my empanadas. The restaurant was basically empty, so the wait times didn’t make sense. If you’re looking for authentic Argentine food, this is not the place. The experience overall was disappointing. Place decor was nice tho."

"Amazing dinner. My husband and I ordered 4 empanadas (spinach, cubano x2, and de carne) and a lomito completo handheld sandwhich. So delicious. We would come all the time if we were local. Wonderful staff and environment/decor. Music was soft enough to have a conversation. Als while we waited for food there were trivia games we could play on our smart phones."
