What People Are Saying
from Google"The first thing you will notice when you walk the door is the AMAZING smells of fresh croissants baking. The owner is super friendly and welcoming as well. There are many great gift options here: nice hand lotions, perfumes, and French- imported snacks. You can buy unique printed fabric by the yard or tea-towels, napkins, and other kitchen accoutrement. Highly recommended to tourists and locals alike. Très bon!"
"One of my most favorite, hidden gems to find unique gifts, linens, and glassware. However, the almond croissants are, hands-down, the best croissants I’ve ever had! And I’ve been to Paris! Highly recommend French Rendezvous!"
"A lovely and quaint shop in Madisonville featuring products from France, from berets to Oranginas. Particularly charming are the ceramic Cicadas. The friendly proprietor will tell you the connection if you are curious. If nothing else, do not leave without a fresh chocolate croissant which you can take to the back garden and pretend, if just for a moment, that you are in rural France."
"Lovely shop from France. French rendezvous indeed. Charming place with gifts for everyone. Affordable too. Croissants and coffee is additional bonus. Love love this place specially through Covid🙏🏽💕"
"Transport across the Atlantic Ocean the minute you step foot in this place. The house was built in the 1870s and still has all the charm and character of a 150 year old house. The items showcased and for sale are all from France. I loved just walking around and looking at the stuff. The bakery part is amazing. Get a fresh cup of French pressed coffee and a crescent or fresh baguette. I highly recommend the raisin swirl for breakfast."
