from Google & Yelp"While on vacation in Cincinnati, we had the pleasure to stop by Viva Roasters. Loved their lavender cold brew — so refreshing — and took some beans home too. Picked up the ‘Amor’ beans for my home brew and they’re fantastic. We also did a cupping session with Gerardo, the owner — he’s incredibly knowledgeable and kind, and his whole staff made us feel right at home. Can’t wait to come back!"
"Tried this little coffee shop and it was quite good. My wife and I had the two different types of toast, avocado and sun-dried tomato as well as the ricotta cheese, lemon-blueberry and they were delicious. The coffee we also good, especially my wife's pistachio cold latte. What sets this place apart is the friendly service. They were super-kind and really helpful choosing our food and drinks. We'll definitely revisit. Highly recommended!"
"Detailed Atmosphere with tasty Honduran Coffee Came in on a Friday Afternoon after learning about this place on a Cincinnati food instagram pages. It is a coffee shop that has the bar/ espresso machines in the first floor and the dining spaces on the second floor which is unique and something new! When I walked in, I noticed the Honduran coffee bean bags that are hung behind the bar explicitly showcasing their roots and expressing their rich culture of Honduran Coffee. As a latino, i love seeing this kind of vibrant and diversity in Cincinnati! When Stepped up to the bar, i was greeted by a friendly barista that immediately asked me to recite my order. She was on standby while I looked at the menu of all different types of drinks. The one that looked really interesting was their own cold brew drink— ‘The huerta’. Will try it next time around! Although it looked enticing, i opted for the usual— a dark roast drip coffee with a side of oat milk. The one downside about my experience was the fact that the barista didn’t inform me that there is a bottomless coffee and a normal coffee. So i had re purchase a bottomless coffee for my refill which was a but disappointing considering i could’ve just paid the one dollar difference instead if repurchasing a whole new coffee. Make sure you know the difference when you visit! My girlfriend ordered the chai latte with oat milk which was sweet but not too cloy which would make me stop drinking it completely . The only thing it missed was a kick that the cinnamon usually brings so 4/5 on that! The dark roast coffee was creamy, bold, and full bodied very characteristic of Honduran coffee. It didn’t go well with the side of oat milk cause it altered the flavor profile. having it as is best! The crown jewel of my visit was the decor. I really enjoyed the amount of detail they placed on their decor. The walls were not wallpapered—they were painted figure by figure and the pictures on the wall , which i suppose are of the owner, show cased his travels of his home country, Honduras. Go into the bathroom for a surprise too! Will come back to try their avocado toast which looks delightful and to enjoy the vibes again!"
"The BEST coffee in Cincinnati by far. I have to do flavors and syrups in my lattes from other places but I order without any additions here and it’s smooth and delicious every time. I’ve found that many places in Cincinnati serve a very sour/bright/fruit espresso which I don’t like. The espresso here is full bodied and darker and it’s just the best lol. Wish you guys were open every day of the week! And selfishly I need a location close to downtown lolol"
"I am in love! Such a cute place with gorgeous artwork/murals on the walls. Lots of seating and tables between the two floors. They also have some games you can borrow to play. Such a cute place. The coffee is so good and the pastries are amazing! Absolutely love! Highly recommend! Will definitely be coming back."
