from Google & Yelp"Let me just say—this was a fantastic experience. Super friendly staff and an excellent selection of sandwiches. In their own words, they’re “recovering fine-dining chefs” 😂 Hands down the best focaccia I’ve ever had, and the pastrami sandwich was unreal—generous portion, perfectly balanced, and an outstanding sauce. My buddy ordered the “New Deal” Italian-style sandwich, and it was just as delicious. Kudos to the hardworking staff, and extra credit to the owner for showing genuine kindness to the community out front. Kindness given freely never goes unnoticed. I’ll definitely be back."
"Seemingly a single vegetarian sandwich option on the menu, could probably ask for adaptations of other menu items. Focaccia base was crazy good. It was a solid sandwich with fried mushrooms, chili oil, and aoili. The mushrooms has a lot of batter and it was super heavy. Small seating space. Most people seemed to take it to go."
"Nice staff food was ok. Quite spendy though $16 for a pastrami sandwich. Maybe it’s unfair that I want all pastrami to be Katz’s or even Slymans (Cleveland) but I hate saying “xxxxx place is really good for insert location” The pastrami was good but the bread was the star of the show. For me the ratio is way off. Less bread or more meat. For $16 I’d suggest more meat. Got a corned beef Reuben too. It was better but still the same. Good bread and the rest of the flavors sort of drowned out by it. To add to that, I took the food as take away. Not really a table inside anyway but some limited bar seating. I was a little confused by the final price. 2x 16 =32 why was it 33.04? I get the receipt, and there is a 3% credit card fee then sales tax on that fee. Maybe I didn’t see a warning about the fee. I would have paid cash. The gentleman working the register just immediately told me to tap the box to pay so I did. So I guess the sandwich was fine. The ingredients are really good independently so maybe I’d buy by the pound next time? Seeing that the Thursday special was Italian beef, I’ll come back to try that before giving up."
"This place is delicious! The chicken parm sandwich (a Friday special) is one of the best sandwiches in the city. The bread is also unreal. My only wish is that they were open earlier so I could eat the amazing breakfast sandwich in the morning. 🙏"
"Idk what they do to their pastrami but it was the worst pastrami I've ever eaten. I don't know if they heat it in a microwave or what but it had this oily sheen on it that I have never seen. It wasn't enjoyable at all. I'm glad I had ordered 2 sandwiches because the second one was better. It was called the realist or real one. Something like that. I understand the ingredients to make these large sandwiches are probably pretty pricey but I just didn't see the value in it. I'd have preferred a smaller better sandwich for 10 or 12 bucks versus a humongous mediocre sandwich. I was really excited to try this place because I've been looking for a good deli."
