"Starting out with a clarification comment, you are eating inside a nightclub. I can't tell if it still functions that way or it used to be one, but that's the vibe. The photo they have on their page here is actually hilariously a computer generated rendering. The food was fine. Nothing special. The steak was so heavily (over) seasoned it was pretty salty to be honest. Nothing we had would make us come back just for that. Vibe wise, the music was hypersexual R&B and the bar wall was lined with TVs playing sports. Where Grille 55 shines is really the service. Your bill comes with 18% auto gratuity. For that you get to watch the entire wait staff sit at the bar on their phones and blow huge vape clouds into the dining room. I had to stand up and walk over to get my waitress because despite sitting 10 feet from me, she never checked on us once and we had waited at least 5 minutes for the bill."

"I have not dined at the downtown location yet but planning to check them out later this year. My review is for the Mayfield location in South Euclid. Our first time dining here and the experience was exceptional. The food was delicious, hit, and fresh. The photos are perch, garlic butter mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese. I am sold on the Mac and cheese, and my husband carried on about how delicious the collard greens tasted. The fried greens tomatoes were good and hot. I like them when they are tart, it’s not their fault that they weren’t tart. The produce just isn’t all that great."

"Came here for a girls night with my cousins. Our server Candice was incredible. It was soooo refreshing having someone pleasant and efficient nowadays! Food was great. I loved that we were fully immersed into an experience of being SERVED - you can tell their team coexist well - which is prob why our experience was stellar. I noticed how the team greeted everyone that walked thru the door and how each team member was pleasant in demeanor. I will be adding this place on my list for places I recommend to ppl."
