from Google"I have never ever had anything but an amazing meal at Larder!!! I’ve gotten take out several times but really enjoyed dining in. I’m always so impressed by the incredible vegan options in an awesome deli - absolutely perfect for vegans and omnivores alike. The rainbow vegan sandwich was delicious, as well as the vegan curry pumpkin soup. Boyfriend said that it was the best pastrami he’s ever had in his life and really enjoyed the different textures and flavors throughout the sandwich. Bread on it is amazing!!! We didn’t get any baked goods though we wanted to next time. I loved sitting inside and admiring all of the art and learning more about their fermentation!! Wanted to go back and try everything. The staff was so kind and everything was a 10/10 experience. Love larder!!!"
"This is an awesome shop for locals and for friends and family from outside of Cleveland. Everything is made from scratch and their pastrami sandwich is amazing. Their coleslaw was light and fresh (not mayo based but oil/vinaigrette based). It has lots of ingredients that seemed random but we're actually perfect together. Like strawberries, pistachios, and other great herbs. The fries are a generous portion and well made. I highly recommend coming here. The staff was super friendly and helped us decide which sides to get."
"This is a cool place with great lunch options! My wife and I tried out a couple of different sandwiches with fries and pickled artichoke and onion. Everything tasted great. The sandwiches were very flavorful, the fried chicken was juicy and the pastrami (allegedly made in-house) was Smokey and soft! Everything tasted fresh and well seasoned! The pickled onion and artichoke were also on point; although I must mention this was the first time that I’ve had pickled artichoke. The taste was deliciously green and briny, but the texture was akin to pickled tree trunk, but that might just be how artichoke is supposed to be, idk. That said, the place is pretty expensive, with the pastrami coming in at an outrageous $17 and the fries alone costing $8.50. Money well spent, but lots of it, to be sure."
"I’m in Cleveland for 24 hours and I stopped by here cause I heard and saw great things — I was not disappointed to say the least. I got the pastrami Rueben and it was absolutely delicious!! I also got a side of fries and the koji lime house-made soda! Definitely recommend if you want a great sandwich!"
"Larder has the best pastrami sandwhich in cleveland hands down. The meat is melt in your mouth tender, and the red cabbage slaw is harder to chew than the meat. The asparagus soup was absolutely phenomenal. Well seasoned, very creamy and very refreshing on a warm day. The matzo ball soup is very hardy, and the dumpling is soft and tender. The staff here is beyond friendly. The guy running the register and taking orders is probably the nicest guy I have ever encountered at any dining restaurant. The location is very small and quaint and absolutely lovely. The one downside is parking is parking nightmare there is a lot of stuff in this area and it is all street parking. The place is stuffed with cars. But it's absolutely worth it. Just make sure to come early they will run out of all of their baked goods and pastrami."
