What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Late-night visits at Cure are always a vibe. I’ve gone with friends and solo for DJ nights, and it never disappoints. Great music, DJs who know how to move the room, and bartenders who are friendly and attentive. The Old Fashioned is a favorite ($12 and well made). Laid-back, intimate, creative atmosphere with dope decor and comfy seating—it feels like a big living room with great taste. Easy parking at the spaces out front or a $5 lot across the street."
"I stopped in on a Saturday night to enjoy some live music and ended up loving the entire experience. The staff was warm and attentive, and the drinks were crafted with real care. The thing that impressed me most was the atmosphere, every corner of the place feels thoughtfully designed and welcoming. It is such a unique and inviting spot. I am already looking forward to my next visit."
"I attended a Sunday Back to the Book event at Cure Coffee & Cocktails and had a great experience. The space is welcoming and perfectly sized for a small-to-medium group. The staff was friendly and very accommodating, and there was an excellent selection of both coffee and cocktails. Weekend parking was convenient with a $5 lot located directly across the street. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back next month. Highly recommend for events or a relaxed outing."
"Venue is a vibe. Great aesthetic and addition to columbus. Coffee shop by day and bar by night. I've only been for night drinks at the soft opening but they were good. A little pricey on the drinks but the value was worth it. Indoor and outdoor seating. 2 restrooms, plenty of tables and bar seating. I will gladly continue to come here. Similar business model to parable cafe but different and uniquely it's own thing."
"Disappointing and Disturbing Experience I am writing this review with a heavy heart because I was truly disappointed, hurt, and shocked by the experience I had at this establishment. Earlier in the evening, I was having a great time catching up with friends. As the night ended, I went to the bar to check out, signing my receipt and writing in my tip so I could leave. While I was standing there, a man came up and nearly shoved me out of the way, telling me to move. Because of the way I was approached, it immediately put me on the defensive, and I firmly said no, explaining that I was finishing my receipt so I could leave. He continued insisting that I get out of his way. His tone was harsh, aggressive, and extremely disrespectful. I later learned that this man was the owner of the establishment, which made the situation even more disheartening. Everyone who patronizes a business deserves basic respect, and rude or abusive behavior, especially from ownership, is unacceptable. Because he physically touched me, invaded my personal space, and shoved me, this was grounds to call the police. I chose not to do that, but I was left in tears and felt unsafe and unprotected. There was no apology, no attempt at deescalation, and no empathy. Instead, security was instructed to escort me out, even though I was already in the process of leaving. Once outside, I saw a friend of a friend and began explaining what had just happened. As a woman who was crying and feeling unsafe, I was simply trying to find some comfort. At that point, a security guard told me I was not allowed to talk to him and insisted that I leave. I told him that I was on a public sidewalk and had every right to speak with whomever I wanted. There was still no empathy, no concern for my emotional state, and no sense of safety provided, despite the fact that security is meant to protect patrons. I am not a large person, I was not a threat in any way, and I was simply seeking reassurance after a very upsetting encounter. The person I spoke with offered comfort and reassurance, and eventually I left, but the damage had already been done. I have never experienced anything like this in Columbus. I rarely go out, and this incident completely overshadowed what had been a wonderful evening reconnecting with a childhood friend. I hope this establishment takes a serious look at how patrons, especially women, are treated, because no one should leave a place feeling frightened, disrespected, or dismissed."
