from Google"I came here for Sunday brunch with a couple friends. It's a cozy space. It's pretty causal, but I could see it being a nice, classy date-night spot for dinner. It was "R&B brunch", so there was a DJ playing some good 90s/early 2000s jams.. good upbeat vibe for brunch, but probably a little loud if you want a more intimate/conversational outing. I thibk they do other live music events throughout the week. The menu is loaded up with innovative southern breakfast dishes, but also has the NOLA staples. There's plenty I'd want to try next time. Overall, everybody at my table was pleased, and the food here is clearly made with soul! The hot honey wings were super crispy and had great flavor. My crab cake benedict was excellent -- the crab cakes were huge (really good portion for the price), fresh, and well-seasoned, and the hollaindaise sauce had a good kick to it. Eggs benny is one of my go-to brunch dishes, and this was better than most I've had. Their grits were well-seasoned and just tye right amount of cheesy. Overall, service was good. There were a few birthdays being celebrated and they made sure the guests were treated like V.I.Ps. I have no doubt I'll be coming back to this place."
"The food was delicious!! I was skeptical at 1st because of all the bad reviews, but I'm glad we visited. The service from our waitress MarQuiasha was wonderful she was so nice and attentive. Everything we ordered had flavor, it was piping hot, and my to go order was good as well. The atmosphere was nice and quiet, the music wasn't loud. We went while they had a live jazz show and it was very nice. The restaurant was clean and the drinks were stiff!!"
"I contacted the House of Creole (Columbus. OH) a couple weeks before to set up a brunch for my daughters 30th birthday. I spoke with the owner Roger who personally helped me with all the information and details that would be allowed. Once we arrived the manager Mark promptly assited us with all our needs. THANK YOU so much for the wonderful experience we received for the birthday brunch yesterday (12/20). We had a party of a little over 15 people. Our service/server (Marquis) was phenomenal. I have A LOT of picky eaters in my family who absolutely LOVED the food. My son in law is from New Orleans and he loved his food so that says a lot. The food was hot, on time and delicious. The atmosphere was great and the whole restaurant joined us to sing happy birthday to my daughter which was amazing and very appreciated🥹. You guys did NOT disappoint. THANK YOU🫶🏿"
"I went for my birthday a couple weeks ago and I wasn’t disappointed at all. I had the fried devil eggs, creole salmon and seafood mac n cheese and my friend had sea food pasta. Everything was 10/10, the service is a tad bit slow like you may wait for your food, buts it’s worth the wait for sure. This is definitely my new favorite restaurant! I can’t wait to do their happy hour"
"Me and my sister chose to come to house of creole for my birthday this year and they did not disappoint at all. I am so glad we picked this spot to celebrate. The table had a small easel that said happy birthday on it (so cute) the food was delicious and came out quick, the drinks were great and the SERVICE was impeccable. Our server was Tyler and when I say he made our experience memorable, he most definitely did with lots of laughs, made sure to check on us, very personable as well as professional. We will absolutely be coming back!"
